People on Virgin America flights will be jamming to the new pre-flight safety video, or at least a few eyebrows will be raised.

Directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 2: The Streets, G.I. Joe: Retaliation), with lead choreographers Jamal Sims and Christopher Scott, the video has various street dancers and singers delivering the standard pre-flight instructions in a very nonstandard way. Breakdancing, popping, locking, hip hop choreography, and more are featured as you’re informed about the location of exits and how to buckle up. They also encourage others to use the hashtag #VXsafetydance to audition for the next version.

Is this a brilliant shake-up of a boring routine or simply cringe-worthy? Watch the video below and decide for yourself!
